The RTI response will have a key bearing on the Kerala Govt ban on use of flex for advertising and publicity

In the wake of the Local Self Government Department of Kerala Government stating the non-existence of any PVC recycling facility as opposed to the assertion of the Sign & Printing Industry Association (SPIA) that such a facility exists in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, Pioneer Polyleathers Ltd. that runs the PVC banner recycling unit in Rudrapur has written to RTI. It is learnt that the company has appraised RTI about the unit’s operations which are being handled with due permissions. Also, the representatives of Pioneer Polyleathers were present in the meeting held between SPIA and the Local Self Government Department, Kerala Government where they presented their official documents and details of the processes used by them. The company is expecting a reply from the RTI department soon.
