Meat delivery meal packs, half-price pizzas and sherry plus espresso martinis are among the best foods in London this month.

If you haven't tried "Lardy Bun", go to the new Flor Bakery, which will open on December 11th at Bermondsey's Spa Terminus. The croissant is wrapped with lard, sprinkled with black currants for making tea, and then dipped in sticky caramel. It is definitely a delicacy. Other signature baked goods include brown butter cakes, twice-baked almond croissants, topped with omelets and Danish citrus. Flor will also launch a nationwide delivery service that will deliver bread, coffee and fresh pastries to Londoners' doorsteps. Starting December 10, its meat pie packages will begin to be delivered. These include a variety of minced meat or "papaya meat", made from aged beef or roasted papaya, as well as homemade pastries and tins for baking pies.

Rebel Port Club Experience

Symington Family Estates collaborated with Rebel Port Club to create The Rebel Port Club Experience, a Portuguese-style underground bar in a hidden bar. The pop-up shop was held at the Chilton Street Delicatessen in Marylebone, celebrating the best way of life in Porto and the Douro Valley. For just £25, guests can taste two port cocktails, followed by vintage port and aged tawny port, accompanied by a charcuterie board, cheese platter, slimy grilled Camembert cheese and sticky Pastel nata cheese. Open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday until December 24, reservations are recommended.

This peculiar pizza restaurant, known for its black charcoal pizza base, opened a new restaurant in Barham on December 9. It joins the existing branches of Islington, Wembley, Wandsworth, Hammersmith and Aldgate East. To celebrate the launch, founders Claudio Vescovo and Gianluca D'Angelo offered a 50% discount on all pizzas before December 15. Toppings range from fiery nduja and spicy spianata salami to truffle sauce and burrata, as well as a range of vegetarian options. Diners can drink Zia Lucia's own beer brand, Birra Cabriole', or sip Italian-inspired cocktails, including Campari and Aperol Spritz, and Prosecco from small producers.

Spanish restaurant group Ibérica has launched a game-inspired winter snack feast, curated by Michelin-starred chef Nacho Manzano. Until December 23, all five restaurants in London and Leeds will offer game menus such as hare croquettes and pan-fried duck breast, paired with a glass of Spanish wine. Diners can also sip a new and indulgent PXespresso Martini with Pedro Ximénez Sherry and fritter chocolate.

A rooftop winter wonderland that claims to provide "London's best après ski" is now open at Coq d'Argent in collaboration with luxury cognac brand Hennessy. Until February 22, 2022, guests can order custom Hennessy cocktails and shared snacks with alpine flavors, such as a whole piece of grilled Mont d'Or cheese and steaming Diots sausage with red wine sauce. Private cabins that can accommodate up to 6 people are equipped with flashing lights and artificial blankets for you to enjoy on warm nights, plus a three-course set menu for £60 per person. All the cocktails? The parent company Coq d'Argent restaurant offers more than 600 French wines for you to choose from.
