Ilford has released a series of new Ilford Galerie Décor canvases, ranging from 24 inches to 64 inches, aimed at the expanding home decoration market.
The growing demand for housewives, interior designers and companies to improve their working and living spaces through unique wall art has prompted Ilford to expand its commercial breadth with three new canvas surfaces: glossy, matte and Bright white. This series has reached the best choice for commercial laboratories and mass photo studios between quality and price.
"The Décor Canvas series provides high-quality images that can be archived, but at a reasonable price," said Marc Payet, general manager of CR Kennedy & Co.'s consumer department at Ilford's local distributor (and co-owner).
He added that the Ilford Galerie Décor series has excellent frame stretchability and fracture resistance. Its fast-drying characteristics are suitable for high-speed, high-throughput workflows, and nanoporous coatings can reduce the impact of reflected light.
He said that 60-64-inch large-size prints used for photo reproduction and illustrations are growing strongly, but companies with 44- and 24-inch printers can also participate in the decoration market.
The series includes: Ilford Galerie Décor Canvas Glossy (400GSM): Cotton/polyester blended canvas with natural tones, designed to provide high-performance professional photography and decorative art reproduction printing. The glossy surface enhances the depth and tone to obtain more vivid colors and deep blacks; Ilford Galerie Décor Canvas Matt Cotton (370GSM): 100% cotton canvas, natural tones, designed to provide high-performance professional photography and decorative art reproduction printing . The structure of the matte surface has a subtle weave that enhances the details; Ilford Galerie Décor Canvas Bright White (380GSM): a cotton/polyester blended canvas with a bright white hue, designed to provide high-performance professional photography and decorative arts Reproduction printing. The matte structure of the surface produces a more decorative effect by enhancing the texture and other details.
The Ilford Gallerie Decor Canvas series is available in 24-inch, 44-inch, 60-inch and 64-inch rolls.
