ACC Library (2025 Baxter Street) Lisa Freeman reveals the forgotten mystery through "Furthermore", a combined art exhibition of discovered objects and photos. Passed January 2nd.

ARTWALL@INDIGO (500 College Ave.) "All of Nothing" considers the intersection of natural and industrial beauty through works by Alexa Rivera, Christina Matacotta and Zahria Cook.

ATHICA@CINÉ GALLERY (234 W. Hancock Ave.) Florida artist Eddie Lohmeyer's exhibition "Entropic/Cinema: Selections for Eye Noise" is a series of experimental video works that explore the relationship between the entropy of digital media and the birth of digital media. Create novel and unexpected scenery through spiritual abstraction mode. Until December 25.

BARBAR VINTAGE TEXTILES AND HOME (1354 S. Milledge Ave.) "Michael Ross: Gardens and Forests" features dense oil paintings, depicting forests, fields, wetlands, birds and humans related to natural spaces. His subject matter stems from his sense of wonder for the world, which evokes the meditative and healing qualities of nature. Until December 11.

The circular gallery at UGA School of Environment and Design (285 S. Jackson St.) "Oh, where we are going!" features photos from the new book "Plants in Design" by Brad Davis and David Nichols, which depicts The landscapes of the southeast, the east and west coasts of the United States, and Europe. Until December 17.

Classic Center (300 N. Thomas St.) "Hello, welcome!" Presenting abstractions by Maggie Davis, Jonah Cody, Carol McAllister and Jason Matherley world. • "Classic City" interprets Athens, Georgia through the works of James Burns, Sydney Shores, Thompson Sewell and Allison Ward. The opening of Sip'n' See Gallery will be held on December 13th at 5:30-7 pm 

Community (260 N. Jackson St.) Andy Cherewick's collection of paintings. Through December.

CREATURE COMFORTS BREWING CO. (271 W. Hancock Ave.) René Shoemaker displayed the "Gate of Athens", a series of silk paintings that identify local businesses through the main entrance. A silk-screened poster was attached to the exhibition, showing 16 unique Athenian companies. The opening reception on December 13 from 5 to 7 pm is currently on display until February 28.

FLICKER THEATER & BAR (263 W. Washington St.) works by Jay Domingo. Through December.

The Georgia Museum of Art (90 Carlton Street) "Whitman, Alabama" exhibited 23 of 52 films from the ongoing documentary project of the same name by journalist, photographer and filmmaker Jennifer Crandall. As of December 12th. • "Interior View: The Georgia Art Museum Collection" showcases unseen works among the more than 18,000 objects in the museum's collection. Until January 30. • "Collective Impression: Modern Native American Printmakers". As of January 30. • "In Conversation: View of Empire: Grand and Humble" showed two print series, sparking a conversation about what it meant to be a Russian working-class citizen in the mid-19th century. Until August 21.

GLASSCUBE@INDIGO (500 College Ave.) Zane Cochran displayed "Aurora", a sculptural interpretation of the northern lights using 3D geometric figures and lighting. 

HEIRLOOM CAFE (815 N. Chase St.) multimedia artist Lois Songster presents plants and animals with a combination of gouache, colored pencils, wood, watercolor, paper, pen and ink, and digital art. Until January 3.

JITTERY JOE'S DOWNTOWN (297 E. Broad St.) Tom Hancock's mixed media works combine acrylic paintings, sketches and ready-made objects. Through December. 

LYNDON HOUSE Art Center (211 Hoyt St.) AJ Aremu displayed a large-scale installation for "Window Works", which is a series of specific locations, using the front entrance windows of the building for outdoor art viewing. • George Davison presented "Chants/Chance: Tinctures, Totems and Charms", which is a whimsical combination. Until January 1. • "Figure Ground" explores positive and negative space, or figure and ground through the works of Kevin Cole, William Downs, Phil Jasen, Susan Nees, Terry Rowlett, Kate Windley and Sunkoo Yuh. As of January 15. • The "self-image curation" curated by Kendall Rogers includes works by Parawita Stamm, Anjali Howlett, Lauren Schuster, Monsie Troncosco, Emmie Harvard and Alan Barrett. Until January 15. • "Follow Like a Friend" investigates issues surrounding social media through the work of Alyssa Davis, Kimberly Riner, and Stephanie Sutton. Until January 15. • Our community’s collection showcases Bill Raines' collection of antique toy pond boats. Until January 16. 

Peter Loose, a folk artist from the Madison Artists Association (125 W. Jefferson St., Madison), showed "When the Birds Gather". Until December 24.

Madison-Morgan Cultural Center (434 S. Main St., Madison) "MAG POPS!" is a group exhibition of artworks by members of the Madison Artists Association. Through January.

Jan Walker of the MASON-SCHARFENSTEIN MUSEUM OF ART (567 Georgia St., Demorest) Cornelia Children’s Gallery displayed a sparkling and colorful holiday wonderland. Until December 15.

TINY ATH GALLERY (174 Cleveland Ave.) Potter Amanda Jane Crouse and printmaker Amanda Jane Burk displayed "Amanda Jane VS Amanda Jane", a series of prints, paintings and sculptures. The third Thursday will be held on December 16th from 6pm to 9pm. Open in December, reservation required. 

UGA Main Library (320 S. Jackson St.) "Georgia Trailblazers: Commemorating the 60th Anniversary of UGA’s Abolition of Apartheid" records in 1961 Hamilton Holmes and Charlene Hunt became the first group of African-American students admitted to the university Historical events. 

UGA SPECIAL COLLECTIONS LIBRARIES (300 S. Hull St.) The new Ted Turner exhibition hall and gallery showcase the life and legacy of CNN founder and environmentalist Ted Turner through memorabilia, photos and other items. • "Drinking Water in Georgia" is an interactive exhibition that tracks the geographic, environmental, and political factors surrounding natural resources and how these issues affect Georgians. Through December. • "Not just for ourselves: the integration of UGA track and field" celebrates the 50th anniversary of the integration of the Georgia Bulldogs football team. By the spring of 2022. • "Battle with Nature: The Battle for Pest Control in Georgia's Fields, Forests, and Frontyards" includes 3D models of insects, as well as newspaper articles, government documents, and photos, allowing viewers to understand the entomological and gardening wars waged by Georgians on their own In the yard, environmental, ecological and public health issues related to pests and eradication work. Until May 27.
