A frugal couple shared a cheap kitchen remodel with marble vinyl-they only spent more than £100. Rachel and Max used IKEA and hardware store specials to make the space feel more fashionable and more in line with their style.

Their ultimate goal is to knock into the restaurant space and make the area an open plan. At the same time, they want to use some fresh kitchen ideas to update things and make the core of their home happier.

Before the renovation, the kitchen had plain brown cabinets and black countertops. But they want to get a more modern and monochromatic feel. In accepting the latest deal, Rachel said: "During the lockdown, when we were looking for a house, we had much more time on hand."

“So I spent a few hours saving photos of my favorite ideas on Instagram and Pinterest and creating a mood board for each room,” she said. Their first port of call was B&Q, where they took paint for the cabinets.

To make things feel more special, they painted the hardware gold with some cheap spray paint from Amazon. The eye-catching thing is the lovely marble effect film. Rachel and Max used it on the countertop, bringing texture and luxury.

The marble-effect vinyl packaging makes a huge difference, as does the fresh paint. The product they use is DC-Fix Gloss Grey Marble effect self-adhesive film, B&Q price of 5 pounds-if your renovation budget is limited, this is the perfect choice.

The two used marble vinyl to complete the entire budget kitchen renovation by purchasing items from B&Q, IKEA and Facebook Marketplace. On the other side of the kitchen, they placed new open shelves with IKEA storage jars and artificial indoor plants.

Jars with wooden lids are a bargain at Poundland. These are great storage solutions for small spaces because they can make the most of the vertical space you have.

We like the two-tone appearance of the cream and dark navy paint. The marble-effect countertops and Aldi cooking utensils that look like Le Creuset definitely enhance the entire space.

So, will they do something different next time? They said they would remove the cabinet doors to make painting easier.

In general, Rachel and Max stated that kitchen remodeling is easy to complete, even if the paint takes a while to dry. Are you inspired to quickly use TLC in your kitchen?
