The Yankees' double-A league is no longer underwater.

The TD Bank baseball field of the Somerset Patriots was hit by the remnants of Hurricane Ida on Wednesday night and was flooded by water on Thursday. Friday looks more like a baseball stadium, undergoing a dramatic transformation.

Co-chairs Jonathan and Josh Carafer said in a statement: "After Tropical Storm Ida had an unprecedented impact on our region, the Somerset Patriots organization and Carafer family were truly affected by support and attention. "We are deeply saddened by the loss of life and destruction caused to so many people by this storm.

"We wish our family and our team all safety and security. The floods have receded and the work has begun to prepare our field to'play' and complete the season."

Somerset outfielder Isiah Gilliam said on Twitter on Thursday that the team "lost everything" and pointed out that the cars of all players and coaches were also flooded at the stadium in Bridgewater, New Jersey.

The Patriots are currently on a road trip, but plan to return to the TD Bank Ballpark on Tuesday for six home games.
